The 2am test
We used to run an MSP. On every new client onboarding we asked ourselves one question: if we get a call at 2am and the tech who knows this client is unreachable, can any team member open a runbook and fix the problem without asking anyone?
The answer was almost always no. Not because the knowledge didn't exist, but because it lived in a dozen different places: a ticket comment, a shared spreadsheet, someone's private notes, a Slack thread from eight months ago.
We tried building internal tooling twice. Both times we ended up with something that only the person who built it understood. In 2024, we decided to build the product that should have existed all along.

Three people who have been in the MSP trenches and are building the tools they wish they had.
Years in B2B SaaS and IT operations tooling, building workflow systems for ops-heavy teams. Came to Lexful having watched the same knowledge-scattering problem repeat across every MSP she worked with.
Background in document-sync and credential-management systems for IT teams. Has spent years building distributed backends where PSA integration reliability is the hard problem. Designed Lexful's connector architecture from the ground up.
Focuses on multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure and operations tooling for managed service environments. Built search systems where query speed directly affects end-user outcomes, which is exactly what Lexful needs.

MSPs hold passwords and system access for dozens of clients. We treat credential security as a first-class feature, not a checkbox. AES-256, zero plaintext, immutable logs.
We design for the technician on a call, not the CTO who approved the purchase. Lexful has to work under pressure, on a second monitor, with no time to read a manual.
